Vintage 50’s wool jacket peasant homespun blue & cream blazer // 43” bust
Vintage 50’s wool jacket peasant homespun blue & cream blazer // 43” bust
Handwoven wool jacket in shades of blue with two hip patch pockets. Silver metal buttons with loops that all but disappear when buttoned closed. This is a coarse fabric with a real peasant home spun quality. Fully lined in pale pink. My guess is this is Mexican or South American, but really it could be from anywhere. There are no meaningful or legible tags, just one at the neck with 44 and 2 handwritten. No stains, no holes.
Freshly hand washed and ready to wear. Please use the measurements for fit.

Pit to pit 21.5”

Because sizing is not universal among makers or across decades, size numbers are just a starting point. To ensure proper fit, you must measure and compare to a garment that fits you well. There really is no other way.
Please be aware, if you need an exact color match, that colors vary from monitor to monitor. I do my best to write accurate descriptions, and I photograph in natural daylight. If you need additional information please ask before purchase to avoid disappointment.
